About Vintage Magnet PTA
The Vintage Magnet PTA is the Parent Teacher Association for Vintage Magnet School in North Hills, California — a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) magnet, also known as the Math/Science/Technology Magnet, and a NASA Explorer School since 2007.
Our school is a National Blue Ribbon School, a California Distinguished School, and serves K–5 students in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
The PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization affiliated with the California State PTA (CAPTA), the 31st District PTSA, and the Los Amigos Council. All donations are tax-deductible.

To support every Vinty Bear at Vintage Magnet — students, teachers, and families — through community, fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer programs.
What makes Vintage special
- STEAM curriculum — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics integrated across grade levels.
- NASA Explorer School — one of 25 U.S. schools originally selected; teachers use NASA materials and the Digital Learning Network to connect classrooms to NASA scientists.
- Magnet program — specialized Math/Science/Technology focus drawing families from across the district.
- Gifted & Talented Education (GATE) — enrichment for identified students.
- Bilingual community — serving families in English and Spanish.
